Diaphragm
The diaphragm is a stator part of a steam turbine that is used to regulate the flow of steam to the rotor blade and increase the efficiency of the turbine. Diaphragms are of interest due to their manufacture from a single piece of material. This technologically complex manufacturing process significantly increases the durability and strength of the wheel.
