Profiling machine to seal edges
The machine is used to create and round the edges of turbine seals. Stretching the strip between the shaping rollers creates an L-, J- or U-shaped profile. The profile is then rounded off in the machine in different diameters depending on customer requirements. The finished seal is then pressed in the outer groove on the rotor shaft or to the inner groove of the stator. The machine is capable of shaping different profiles and different diameters
with just a short period of downtime for conversion.
